These are the OEM Valve Covers chromed. Coming from a Valkyrie, one of the things I missed from my previous ride was the chromed look of the engine. The GL1800 look dull in that area and since I switched to the chromed Lower Back and Front Cowls, I decided to chrome the valve covers also. Now the contrast with the Gold Emblems looks AWESOME!!! These pictures, due to the reflections, don't give credit to the real beauty of this modification. You need to see it to believe it. Even I used a local platter to do it, you may use an exchange program that Creasy's Honda is having right now. You purchase the chromed ones, install them and send yours back for a CORE refund. Then they chrome yours and sell them to another one. They also have some other parts like the Timing Belt Cover. Give them a call at: 1-731-968-3348

The installation of these covers is not difficult but some oil will spill in the ground. Also be careful with the grommets when taking them out and putting the back. Besides that we are talking some very easy to remove and replace bolts.

Another BIG difference, like the previous one. This cover was locally chromed and the change is VERY NOTICEABLE! The installation is very easy but you need to take care when re-installing this part because there is a pulse signal reader that is attached to this part with a bolt and you need to see how it is installed to put it back. Also is recommended to replace the ????

Stealth Lights
  LED Mirror Lights

These two Kuryakyn accessories are designed for the GL1800. Even they may be purchased separately, if you want both, I recommend to purchase and install them at the same time since you may need to connect both lights to the same source, like I did.

I only took out the mirror lights by taking out the screw below the mirror. With a little pull the mirrors pulled out, exposing the required cabling. Then I used clamps and connected to the recommended wires. These lights are VERy visible even at daylight specially to the cars by your sides. I HIGHLY recommend them.

The Stealth lights are very handsome also and the installation is very easy. When I had the mirrors still out, I ran the Stealth Lights provided cables from the mirror's housing through the inside of the fairing and using tie wraps I secured the cables to avoid letting them hanging loose. Then connect the cables to the lights and installed them. They are attached with the provided double side tape. I connect the cables to the mirror's housing where I connected the mirror lights in the previous step. You may connect them as running lights only, signal lights only or both. I selected both, so they are always lit when the bike is on and light intermittently brighter when signaling. This is specially useful for the cars that are aligned by your side and cannot see the signal lights nor the mirror lights.

Boards Transformed
Awesome...these boards are the ones specially designed for the GL1800. They are the same as the ones for the GL1500 but you don't need to mess with the installation since they bolt right on. They also come with the chromed mounting platform as a bonus. When open, they provide more or less the same room as the OEM but they look a LOT BETTER. When closed, they show a lot of chrome plus a great looking carved teardrops. But the real beauty of these boards is when they are in the "transformer" position. My SO reported that the higher feet position provides a great relief and also they allow here to put her feet stretched above the pegs to rest her legs.
