As many people love, pinstriping my bike is something
I wanted for long time with all my bikes. Unfortunately, in Puerto Rico
there is no one that do that job. Since I shipped my bike to USA to attend
the Wing Ding I though it was a good opportunity to do this job.
After spending several hours looking in the parking
lot for all pinstriping jobs and spending a whole day at several pinstriping
booths, I saw a lot of designs on different bike and paid attention to
red one (guess why). At the end of the day I decided the person that will
do the job mainly because was the only one that was willing to talk and
listen to you and do whatever you wanted. The company was Wizard
Graphics and the artist was Steve Chaszeyka. They are located in Ohio and
their phone number is:
(330) 542-4444.
This is basically what I told him: Steve, I love
the sporty look of my bike and want something to keep that sporty look
so avoid too many short curly lines and ornaments. Stick with long lines
and graphics. Also want something from your artistic mind and with subtle
colors. I like the graphics to be seen while close to the bike and not
far away. Since the color of the bike changes with the sun, I prefer to
see the graphics at sunlight, not at night. He said that understood everything
I wanted and agreed 100% with my taste (I told him later my father is an
artist) but he requested that I allow him to choose the colors. I said
YES, you are the artist.
I cannot be happier with the end result (and this
is my taste, of course). Still cannot find one person that see it in person
(and believe me, the pictures don't say nothing since there are some lines
that are not shown) that doesn't love it. They say looks sporty and delicate.
I LOVE IT!!!!
